| The JCAMP file format is useful when your files
cannot be read by the normal set of instrument file format converters on the site. Nearly
every major FTIR software package and most Raman software packages support some form of
"export" to create spectral data files in the JCAMP format. The converter on
this site supports all JCAMP versions up to V4.24. For a complete description of the JCAMP
file format, please refer to the IUPAC JCAMP web page, Bob McDonald's JCAMP page or the
original publication (R.S. McDonald and P.A. Wilks Jr., Applied Spectroscopy 42, 151,
1988). The converter can translate JCAMP files with multiple LINK blocks (multi
spectral file). However, these files cannot be properly searched in the database. Please
do not submit JCAMP files with multiple LINK blocks. |
