The Hummel Polymers and
Additives Library includes 2,011 spectra of polymers, solvents, monomers and industrial
organic compounds. The spectra were collected by Professor Dieter Hummel of the Institute
of Physical Chemistry at the University of Cologne (Köln), a recognized specialist in
polymer chemistry. This library will benefit any
user who needs to identify polymers on either a regular or occasional basis, and is
particularly suited to QC, R&D and analytical labs involved in polymer production or
analysis. The spectra were chosen to aid identification of impurities, including excess
residual monomers and additives, as well as to indicate the composition of completed
products.
Spectra were originally acquired at 4 cm-1
spectral resolution. |
